Ionian Sea view from Sicily


This Photo Serie shows the Ionian Sea from different places in Sicily. The Ionian Sea is a subpart of the Mediterranean Sea, which is one of the most seismically active areas in the world and also includes the deepest point of the Mediterranean Sea, the Calypso Deep.

Castellers on the Santiago Russinyol Square


In this performance each team builds two towers, one pillar and a walking pillar. The walking pillars walk down the twenty steps of the Cathedral de la Seu and then start their journey down the Major street all with hopes of making it to the La Font Square and the City Council. Four local teams performed during the Day of La Mercè: “Xiquets de Tarragona”, “Jove Xiquets Tarragona”, “Xiquets del Serrallo” and “Castellers de Sant Pere i Sant Pau”.

Castellers on the La Font Square


The La Font Square in Tarragona is one of the most popular squares in the country for performing human towers. Four local teams performed during the Day of Santa Tecla: “Xiquets de Tarragona”, “Jove Xiquets Tarragona”, “Xiquets del Serrallo” and “Castellers de Sant Pere i Sant Pau”.

Milky way and Perseids meteor shower time lapse



A time lapse of the Milky way and Perseids meteor shower over the Mount Fluebrig near Innerthal, Schwyz, Switzerland. The pictures was shot from 11:40p.m. on Wednesday, 12.08.2015 till 03:55a.m. on Thursday, 13.08.2015.
